Hi! Forgot to update with some recent B5 things I've written, which consists of 20 drabbles from a really stellar prompt challenge. They're all in a collection here.

I've been focusing on some non-B5 things lately, but I've got my eye on some Minvember prompts and an old unused Bad Things Happen Bingo card I requested with B5 in mind but that I have still yet to use.

I can promise nothing, but I'd love to hear any ideas?Read more... )

I'm admittedly waning on inspiration at the moment, so I really need a rewatch.

What's everyone else working on these days?

Someone suggested the very galaxy brained Kosh's Ship x B5 Station over on the ficathon page and it gave me feelings so this happened. This too is yuri.

The vast metal of you spins, weaving hopeful melodies out to the stars and pulling us into percussive promises. Each miraculous thought you house forms a harmony, each moment of music more unique than a pulsing sun’s flares. Your resonant breaths crescendo and shift key with every departure and docking, but heart never changes in beat.

Our mournful coda, cradled in your echoing octaves, ends our role in your endless symphony. We tear ourself from your lungs. Angling toward those bright flares, we howl our finale to enshroud you, our favorite conductor, in the safety we could not provide him.

Did a little drabble for the Worker Caste Minbari prompt from here. Ficathon ends on May 31st for anyone wanting to add or fill prompts!

I really don't know my AO3 situation at the moment, so I'm probably going to just post my fills on DW for linking purposes.

Kateev’s skin itched at her entire future being encased in crystal. She had already explored every carved-out corner of inner worlds of the Soo’na mountain range, underground and forgotten by the other castes as though the technology they crafted and resources they mined simply materialized week after week.

She leaned against the railing overlooking the murmuring forum below as the setting sun cast shadows through the convex crystalline skylight. Golden warmth lost itself to the blue glow of stones.

Kateev squinted up toward Minbar’s two framed moons. Only by building a rocket could she dream of touching the emergent stars.
